Marina

The geometry of the project stems from the site that hosts it, whose contours it follows. The desire was to open up to the river and fit as naturally as possible into this intersection, by creating a building in continuity with its environment. The interplay of volumes is sober, like most buildings in Old Montreal.

The facades are thus made up of large planes of natural stone and very generous and present windows. The corner, which opens onto the river, is reinforced by a sober and elegant metal frame, it contrasts with the stone and thus reinforces the openings it contains. This gesture aims, among other things, to recall the balcony and the ornamentation of the historic building that once marked this corner.
